Duoning DuoBioX® Elite is a benchtop cell culture bioreactor system that supports dual culture modes. Users can quickly establish and develop cell culture processes ranging from 3 to 15 liters with this system, achieving process establishment, development, and optimization with a highly cost-effective investment. The DuoBioX® Elite system is ideal for the early development of cell culture processes in scientific research institutions or the biopharmaceutical industry.
Design Concept
The Elite system fully complies with the technical performance requirements of bioreactors in the biopharmaceutical industry. The process software employs a user-friendly design language to facilitate easier operation. The system operates stably and reliably, occupies minimal space, and offers users options for both touch and mobile operation platforms.
Material of Construction
The stainless-steel parts of the tank body that comes into contact with the liquid is constructed from SUS316L stainless steel and is electropolished to create an inert surface that is easy to clean. The glass tank body is made of high-quality tempered borosilicate glass, while the sealing materials consist of EPDM, silicone, and other substances that comply with FDA requirements. The non-liquid contact parts are made from high-quality SUS304 stainless steel.
System Hardware
Various tank specifications are available, including 3L, 5L, 7L, 15L and more.
The software is powerful and capable of comprehensive control based on feedback, time, conditions, and script recipes, effectively meeting the user's stringent process requirements.
The operating system, developed on the WinCC industrial-grade architecture, complies with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, making it suitable for use in industries such as pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
In addition to the fundamental parameters of dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, temperature, liquid level, and stirring control units, the system can accommodate up to three ventilation gas pathways: surface ventilation, macro sparger bottom ventilation, and micro sparger bottom ventilation. This flexibility allows users to implement diverse and adaptable ventilation strategies, effectively supporting high-density perfusion culture processes. Furthermore, the optimized exhaust gas cooling device significantly reduces the risk of exhaust gas filter blockage and is compatible with both fermentation and high-density cell culture applications.
The controller is designed with additional input interfaces to connect sensors, such as those for cell density, CO2 levels, and weighing. It can also accommodate additional sensors in the control feedback system.
