In order to better apply to the application scenarios with a small amount of samples need to be thawed and reduce the purchase cost, Duoning has developed the second-generation LA-G002 two-hole cell dry thawer with integrated temperature data and real-time display.
The instrument adopts an optimized algorithm to achieve programmed control, and realizes cell thawing and recovery through technologies such as "resistance heating", "programmed temperature control" and "low temperature sensing". The built-in temperature monitoring system can identify the surface temperature of the cryovial and the temperature at each stage during the thawing process from solid to liquid state, even there are frozen-storage labels and markers on the surface, the thawing result won’t be affected. The program can be customized to thaw and recover various cryopreserved cell products, whether it is from liquid nitrogen or -80°C. The thawing time of LA-G002 is basically the same as that of the water bath. The preheating time is 1 minute, the ramping time is about 1 minute and 10 seconds, and the thawing time is about 1 minute and 20 seconds. The viability of the thawed cells is comparable to those from water bath, or better.
